Our programs
Whether your dog trains with us or you train alongside a coach, the objective does not change: obedience that holds up outside the training yard.
Your dog lives and trains with an assigned trainer, working every day on obedience, impulse control and real-world reliability. You receive the dog back together with the handling skills to maintain it.
One-on-one sessions of 45 to 75 minutes where you do the handling and we coach you through it, building the timing, clarity and consistency your dog responds to.
Why Apex
Training is proofed where you actually live with your dog: on the street, around other dogs, with distractions and pressure, not only in a quiet training yard.
Breed, drive, age and history change the plan. We build the program around the dog in front of us instead of pushing every dog through the same protocol.
A trained dog goes home to an owner who knows how to keep it that way. Handler coaching is part of the work, not an afterthought.
Behavior & reactivity
Lunging on the leash, barking at every dog on the block, guarding the door, a dog you have stopped walking at busy times of day. Behavior cases are not a side service here. They are what one of our lead trainers has spent fifteen years on.

How it works
Free, by phone or online. You tell us about your dog, your daily life and what has to change. No charge and no obligation.
In person at the facility, typically $100 and 30 to 60 minutes. We assess temperament, drive and current behavior, then recommend the program your dog needs. It is required before any program is quoted.
Structured sessions build obedience and reliability step by step, then proof it under real-world distraction.
One handover session plus three refreshers within the year, so the results hold long after the program ends.
